Advanced drainage and fire protection at M4 metro station

One of the biggest challenges on the M4 was to provide escape and access covers to the underground service areas. These were not only to carry heavy equipment, but also be fireproof and act as escape routes in case of emergency.

ACO provided a solution with 25 access covers, including ACO UNIFACE FR SS on the platforms and ACO SERVOKAT GD FR in the service areas. ACO Access Covers (FR) are certified EI160, EI260 up to EI1120, EI2120 depending on selection in the ACO Access Cover (FR) product range.

With ACO's solutions, M4 has not only been equipped with efficient dewatering, but also with fireproof installation options that ensure both passengers and technicians can safely move around in the Metro.
